Troubleshoot an IBM Infoprint 1145




Follow the instruction to fix the issue in IBM printer

1) Check that you connected your printer to the power outlet correctly. The plug that goes into the wall or extension cord must go in all the way down to the rubber end of the plug.

2) Verify the USB connection between your printer and the computer if you have your printer connected to a computer. Try other USB ports on your computer to make sure that your problem doesn’t come from a fault in the computer’s USB port itself.

3) Disassemble your printer's exterior while consulting your operation manual and clean it up with compressed air or a small vacuum cleaner. Reassemble it after you finish.

4) Check the error code written on the small LED panel after you restart your printer. Consult your operation manual to see what you should do in your error’s case.
