Ethernet Connection
You will know the printer is connected to the network with an Ethernet cable by recognizing the following:
  • Clear presence of an Ethernet cable attached to the back of the printer.
  • Illuminated green connection light and a possible flickering activity light.
  • The heading on network settings page will say Ethernet 10/100 vs. Ethernet 802.11 b/g/n.

  1Insert the installation CD.
  2If the installation screen does not appear, click Start > Run > type D:\setup.exe, where D is the letter of the CD/DVD drive.
  3Follow the instructions of the installer screen until you get to Select Connection Type.
  4Select Ethernet Connection.
  5Click Continue.
